  1. Hi Gilly,

I have a small request to make. Hope your heart isn’t sinking! I am wondering if you would perhaps like to come along to one of the local Carlisle and District Civic Trust meetings and give us a talk, it would be so interesting for us, with all your local experience of Border TV, living in the Borders, and the novels!

We meet once a month in Waterton Hall in Carlisle, on a Tuesday evening, the next date we are looking for is possible the 17th or 24th of February or 17th or 24th of March, but April and May is still free.

We have a small but interested membership which we are working on, and we have a Facebook page now. Obviously we would pay a fee, and you would get tea or coffee and a biscuit!
